OFF & MONSTER Season of Monogatari Series Production Insights Revealed Ahead of July Premiere

The MONOGATARI Series: OFF & MONSTER Season anime has recently released a promotional video on its official website, generating considerable excitement among fans anticipating the latest installment. The video features a preview of the opening theme song "caramel ribbon cursetard," sung by Nadeko Sengoku (voiced by Kana Hanazawa) and Yotsugi Ononoki (voiced by Saori Hayami).

In addition, the musical duo YOASOBI has announced their involvement in the anime with the theme song "Undead." Notably, the lyrics for "Undead" were penned by NisiOisin himself, adding a unique narrative depth to the series.

Set to debut exclusively on the ABEMA streaming service in Japan on July 6, the anime boasts a seasoned production team. Akiyuki Simbo, a veteran director within the franchise, leads as chief director, supported by Midori Yoshizawa as director. Fuyashi Tou returns to oversee series scripts alongside Simbo, with Miku Ooshima contributing additional scriptwriting. Character designs are once again handled by Akio Watanabe, serving as chief animation director alongside Nobuhiro Sugiyama and Kana Miyai. Satoru Kōsaki, known for his distinctive musical compositions, returns to score the anime's soundtrack.
