Aniplus-Asia to Simulcast Second Season of Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World Anime

 Aniplus-Asia has announced the simulcast of the second season of the television anime adaptation of Kei Sazane and Ao Nekonabe's light novel series, "Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World." According to Aniplus-Asia's Facebook page, the new season is set to premiere on July 10 at 9:30 p.m. GMT +8.

Directed by Yuki Inaba ("KamiKatsu: Working for God in a Godless World"), the second season is being produced by Studio Palette in collaboration with SILVER LINK. Studio Palette is also handling the series composition, while character designs are by Kaori Yoshikawa. Yukio Nagasaki from Bit Grooove Promotion serves as the sound director, and Elements Garden, known for their work on "Uta no Prince Sama" and the "Symphogear" franchises, is composing the music. Pony Canyon is producing the music.

The opening theme song, "Senaka Awase" (Back to Back), will be performed by AliA, and the ending theme song, "Para Bellum" (Prepare for War), will be sung by Sizuk.


The first season of "Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World" premiered in October 2020, and Aniplus-Asia aired the anime simultaneously with its Japanese broadcast.

Shin Oonuma and Mirai Minato directed the first season at SILVER LINK, with Kento Shimoyama handling series scripts. Kaori Satō served as both character designer and chief animation director.

Yen Press publishes the light novels and their manga adaptation in English. The story revolves around a protracted conflict between the Empire, known for its technological prowess, and Nebulis, a realm of magical girls. The narrative explores the meeting between the Empire's youngest knight and the princess of Nebulis, sworn enemies who find themselves drawn to each other despite their allegiances.

The announcement highlights Aniplus-Asia's commitment to delivering timely anime content and reflects the increasing global interest in "Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World." With its compelling narrative and talented production team, the series continues to captivate audiences worldwide.
