The Hashira Training Arc began its television run on May 12, 2024, starting with a one-hour special episode. Before this, fans could watch Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - To the Hashira Training, a theatrical release combining the first episode of the Hashira Training Arc and the final episode of the Swordsmith Village Arc. This special screening debuted in Japanese theaters on February 2, 2024, and later traveled globally.

This arc continues from the Swordsmith Village Arc, which premiered on April 9, 2023, with an initial one-hour special and included 11 episodes. Crunchyroll streamed the series simultaneously with its airing in Japan, maintaining its accessibility for international viewers.

The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime, adapted from Koyoharu Gotouge's manga, first aired in April 2019. Aniplex of America licensed the series, which was available on Hulu, Crunchyroll, and Funimation, and it premiered on Adult Swim's Toonami block in October 2019.
The series gained immense popularity with the release of Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train in October 2020. Following this, the Mugen Train Arc, a seven-episode adaptation of the film, premiered in October 2021. The Entertainment District Arc launched in December 2021 with a one-hour special. Both arcs were streamed by Funimation and Crunchyroll, reinforcing the series' global fanbase.

As the Hashira Training Arc nears its conclusion, fans have watched Tanjiro and his friends undergo rigorous training under the top-ranking demon slayers. The extended runtimes for the last two episodes indicate a transition from training to the confrontation with Muzan, Tanjiro's ultimate adversary. The latest trailer hints at this shift, summarizing Tanjiro's journey and offering a glimpse of Muzan, setting up an exciting finale.

The final extended episodes promise a thrilling and emotional end to Season 4. As Tanjiro and his companions face their biggest challenge yet, these episodes are expected to deliver a satisfying and memorable conclusion to the Hashira Training Arc. Fans can anticipate an engaging climax that will lead into the next chapters of the story.
